With the return to its hometown of Glashütte and manufacture status, Tutima introduces the new M2, an evolution of the NATO Chronograph.  As the Official Supplier of Chronographs to NATO and the German Armed Forces since 1985, Tutima’s first generation chronograph has outstandingly proven itself during missions across the globe for over 19 years. Now, the M2 even more reliable, durable and better equipped is destined to continue this success story for professionals in any environment.



























New Inner Values
The M2power source is a Tutima automatic caliber 521 featuring legible central sweep minute and second counters for the chronograph.  Housed in a 46 mm solid titanium case with an extra-strong sapphire crystal and screw-down case back, the mechanical movement is protected from shock, dust, moisture – and magnetic influence by a protective shield made out of soft iron and mu-metal, a magnetically soft nickel-iron alloy.





















Reliable Functionality
Professional timing instruments must be legible, durable and user-friendly, and these were the precise guidelines for developing the M2. The hour and minute hands as well as the hour markers are inlaid with a strong luminescent material, and the red highlights of the chronograph hands also provide a long afterglow in darkness.  There have also been significant improvements on the design and functionality of the screw-in crown and the large buttons integrated into the case, which the M2has inherited from its predecessor – the chronograph buttons have the addition of a non-slip, ribbed rubber surface and a crown with a better grip groove system. The case back made of light titanium, like the case, and the M2can withstand pressures up to 30 bar (300 meters).
